Peggy Woods McDougall, widow of John Rhudell McDougall, 85, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SC.She was born in Wrightsville, GA on February 28, 1924 to the late George Herman and Mattie Mae Wilson Woods.She owned and operated Ridgeland Flower & Gift Shoppe for many years before retiring. She grew up in Hardeeville and was a graduate of Hardeeville High School. She was a member of Ridgeland Baptist Church.She is survived by her sons, Christopher Hamilton (Rebecca) McDougall of Springfield, GA; Marcus Luke (Diana) McDougall of Bluffton, SC; one sister, Joyce C. (Tommie) McCallister of Ridgeland, SC and three grandchildren, Mattie Sheldon McDougall; Abby Caroline McDougall; Zachary Luke McDougall and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Herman R. McDougall.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, October 2, 2009 at the Ridgeland Baptist Church, 1448 Grays Hwy. in Ridgeland, SC with burial in the Ridgeland Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 til 8 pm, Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W.
