Phillip Elwin Scott, 22 of Bluffton passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Wassaw Island, Savannah, GA as the result of an accident.
He was born in Sandy, Utah, November 25, 1991 to Del Douglas Scott and Heidi Lynn Crandall Scott. He was an Elder at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Hilton Head Island. He was a graduate of Bluffton High School and a decorated wrestler for the school. He was a leader for the Young Single Adult Church group. He was always smiling and was friend to everyone.
In addition to his parents, Del Douglas and Heidi Lynn Crandall Scott of Bluffton, he is survived by his brother, Stephen J. Scott of Bluffton; his maternal grandparents, Elwin and Linda Crandall of Sandy, Utah; his paternal grandmother, Lajuanna Latsha of SeaTac, Washington; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the Ridgeland Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 917 Grays Hwy, Ridgeland, SC, with a visitation beginning at 12noon lasting until the hour of the service. Burial will follow at Lowcountry Memorial Gardens, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC.
