Phyllis (Brown) Leuze

Hilton Head SC - Phyllis (Brown) Leuze, 84 passed away on December 20, 2021 at National Health Care in Bluffton, SC after a long battle with Dementia.

Phyllis was born on September 13, 1937 in Alexandria Bay, the daughter of Joseph Eugene Brown and Margaret (Dygert) Brown. Phyllis graduated from Morristown High School in 1955, and then married her husband, Richard C. Leuze in 1956.

She worked at Welch Allyn in the Production Engineering Department for over thirty years before retiring and moving to Savannah, GA.

Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Margaret Brown; her husband Richard Leuze (1973); her sister Shirley Phillips (Stubb). She is survived by her five children, Deborah Leuze, of Hilton Head, SC; Richard Leuze (Peggy), of Atlanta, GA; Judy Kish (Robert), of Charlotte, NC; Jennifer Allen, of Pearland Tx; and Mike Leuze (Yvonne) of Manlius, NY; and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Phyllis loved to travel, play golf, and read. She enjoyed the beach and was most at home while spending her summers at camp on the St. Lawrence River.
