Princess Pearl Chassereau Breland

BrelandRidgeland, SCPrincess Pearl Chassereau Breland, 87, widow of Eugene Breland, passed away Monday, January 19, 2009 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SC.She was born in Ruffin, SC on January 25, 1921 to the late Gary Brautus Chassereau and Queen Victoria Bennett Chassereau.She was a Homemaker and a member of Ridgeland Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for 40 years. She was a Senior Singer. She was also a former employee of Holiday Wear Manufacturing.She is survived by one son, E. Gary (Sandra) Breland of Ridgeland, SC; one daughter, Esther Victoria (Richard) Smith, also of Ridgeland, SC and her sister, Jennie Ruth Breedlove of Ruffin, SC. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at the Ridgeland Baptist Church with burial in Great Swamp Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 til 8 pm on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams Street, Ridgeland, SC.
