Prudence Pergolizzi

Prudence Pergolizzi passed away at her home on March 5, 2020 with her family and beloved kitties by her side.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane Schwerin (Thomas) of Okatie, SC and Lisa Martin of Brooklyn, NY; her brother, Vincent Pergolizzi (JoAnne) of Brooklyn, NY; grandchildren, Tiffany Dissel (Gregory) of Bluffton, Casey Schwerin of Del Ray Beach, FL and Kimberly McDonald (Marcus) of Augusta, GA and several great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her brother Anthony Pergolizzi.

Prudence lived her life with great courage and determination. She overcame every obstacle and was an inspiration to all who knew her.

She will be greatly missed by her family that she loved so much and her many friends that she treasured in her heart always.

On March 11th at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville, Bluffton beginning at 5:00 pm her family will receive friends with a service following at 6:00 pm.

On March 28th at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Brooklyn NY there will be a Funeral Mass beginning at 9:30 am.  All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Hospice Care of the Low Country.
