Raina Denise Padgett

Raina Denise Padgett, 51, of Hampton, SC passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 14, 2026.

Raina was born September 23, 1974 in Kings Mountain, NC to Linda Holland Kearse and the late James M. Huskins. Raina was a graduate of Wade Hampton High School, Class of 1992, and upon graduation, began a career in cashier operations and customer service. She then met the love of her love, Samuel Rivers, with whom she spent 16 years, until his passing earlier this year. Raina enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children, and browsing the local thrift stores.

Raina is survived by her mother and step-father, Linda and Gordon Kearse of Fairfax, SC; son, Liam Rivers and daughter, Sadie Rivers, both of Hampton; and brother, Jamie Huskins of Kings Mountain, NC.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family with arrangements.
