Ralph Morris Bashlor

Ralph Morris Bashlor, 89 of Ridgeland, SC passed away on August 28, 2015 at his home. He was born in Savannah, GA on September 23, 1925 to the late James Roberson and Frances L. Gupton Bashlor. He was retired District Supervisor for International Paper Company. He was a member and Deacon in The Baptist Church where he was the Choir Director, RA Leader and Church bus driver. He was a saxophone, clarinet and trombone player with the Louie Banks Bank second coming where they played music at several nursing homes. He was a Mason, member of the Scottish Rite and member of Alee Shrine Temple. He is survived by one son, Ralph M. Bashlor Jr. (Pam) of Wilmington Island, GA.; six daughters, Gencie Ramona Watson of Atlanta, GA, Barbara Jean Solley and Beverly Taylor of Ridgeland, SC, Marcia Gail Harrison (Jim) of Midway, GA, Shirley Ann Scott of Sacramento, CA and Laura Lee Tabakian (John) of Midway, GA; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, James Bashlor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 4, 2015 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adam St., Ridgeland, SC with burial at 1:00 pm in Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah, GA. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am until the hour of the service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 4, 2015 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adam St., Ridgeland, SC with burial at 1:00 pm in Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah, GA. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
