Ray Leon Carter

Ray Leon Carter, 74 of Hilton Head Island passed away on February 26, 2015 in the Hilton Head Hospital, Hilton Head Island, SC. He was born on September 18, 1940 in Enid, OK to Maxine Bennett Carter and the late Ray Elvin Carter. He received his Bachelors and MBA from Oklahoma State University. He worked for IBM while living in New York. He was a member of the Jaycee Club in New York. He loved to travel, especially long cruises with his wife Barbara. He was a wine collector. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Carter of Hilton Head Island, SC; his mother, Maxine B. Carter of Edmond, OK, two daughters, Nancy Shaw (Garin) of Guthrie, OK and Stephanie Carter of Hilton Head Island, SC; one brother, Larry Carter of Oklahoma City, OK and one granddaughter, Alexis Shaw of Guthrie, OK.
