Ray Donald Haymans, 64, of Ridgeland passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 at his home.
Ray was born December 16, 1949 in Ridgeland, son of Roy Haymans and the late Nell Tant Haymans. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Sea Pines Security of Hilton Head as a private police officer for 37 years. Ray served as a deacon of Bethel Tabernacle in Beaufort.
Ray is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Debbie; his daughters, Charity (Brian) Cleland of Ridgeland, Amy (Lance) Graven of Bluffton; six grandchildren, Bethany, Savanna, Laura, Sharon, Sierra, and Andrew; his father, Roy Haymans and brother, Miles (Wanda) Haymans of Aiken. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Haymans.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 5,2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Bethel Tabernacle, 2608 Mossy Oaks Road, Beaufort, SC. Friends and family are invited. Visitation will be at Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with a graveside service following at Ridgeland Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
