Ray E. Mcneil

Ray E. McNeil, 83, of Bluffton, SC passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018. He was born on August 16, 1934, in Binghamton, NY, and the son of the late Leon and Virginia McNeil. He graduated from Union Endicott High School in 1952 and Oklahoma State University in 1960. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He began his career with the IBM Corporation in Endicott, New York. He later retired in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. McNeil is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia McNeil, of 38 years. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Don and Gary McNeil, his sister, JoAnne Saunders, and a dear aunt, Claire Carey. He is also survived by his brother, Ron McNeil; sisters, Janet Clark, Linda (Nelson) MaGuire, Carole (Bob) Arnott, Sharon (Jim) Crawford, Mary Stears, Kathy Marshall; his children, Scott (Lara) McNeil, Kim Tompkins, and Amanda (Robie) York; his grandchildren, Tyler and Elise McNeil, Carson and Carrie Grace York.
