Ray Eugene Smith, 60, died Sunday, May 04, 2014 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SC Mr. Smith was born in Hampton, SC on January 26, 1954 to the late Norman Elbert Smith and Irma Lee Williams Smith. Mr. Smith was the owner of Smith's Body Shop in Ridgeland, SC for many years. He is survived by his Fiance, Amy O'Connor of Ridgeland, SC; sons, Christopher R. Smith (Colby) of Grays, SC; Gregory Sloan of Grays, SC; daughters, Brittany Graves (Justin) of Tillman, SC; Sadie O'Connor and Sophie O'Connor, both of Ridgeland, SC; brothers, Leslie N. Smith (Dora) of Newberry, SC; Richard Donnie Smith (Vicky) of Ridgeland, SC and grandson, Carter Graves. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Great Swamp Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service at the church.
