Raymond Babka

Raymond (Ray) Babka, 34, of Ridgeland, SC, died on May 17, 2025. Formerly of Toledo, Ohio. Ray was born August 30, 1990 in Toledo, the son of Jonathan and Lisa (Munch) Babka. He attended Whitmer High School and graduated in 2009.

He then moved to Bluffton, SC, with the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Laura. He worked for Eric and Kelly Stern at Exact Flooring for the past 8 years and they treated him like a son.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Flannigan; son, RJ Babka; parents, Jonathan and Lisa Babka; sister, Stefanie (Kyle) Yeupell-Kiss; niece, Cassidy; nephew, Carter; grandmothers, Karen Munch and Joan Leitner; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins, all of Sylvania, Ohio.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 2205 Bees Creek Road, Ridgeland, SC, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A celebration of life will be held in Sylvania at a later date.
