Raymond Carter Hubbard

Raymond Carter Hubbard, 85, of Guyton and formerly of Hardeeville, died February 20, 2014 at his residence. He was born on October 15, 1928 in Ridgeland, SC the son of the late Thomas and Annie Laurie Lynes Hubbard. He was a US Air Force Veteran of Korea and retired from Marten- Brower and Bowman transportation companies. He was a member of Maye River Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his wife, Bonnie Hubbard in August of 2013. He is survived by sons Steven Hubbard (Janie) of Douglasville, GA and Michael Hubbard (Karen) of Villa Rica, GA and step-sons Donald Arthur Douglas (Diane) of Richmond Hill, GA and Daniel Allen Douglas (Mary Lou) of Hardeeville, SC; daughters Faye Meyer (Gary) of GA, Lila Wiley (Wayne) of Douglasville, GA and Julie Winkleman (Jeff) of Canton, GA; brother E. Carlyle Hubbard (Josephine) of Hardeeville, SC and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held at 2pm, Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Maye River Baptist Church, 1300 May River Road, Bluffton, 29910 with a visitation beginning at 11am at the church.
