Raymond Nelson Kellogg Iii

Raymond Nelson Kellogg III, 87, passed away Sunday February 22, at home, surrounded by his children, Raymond N. Kellogg IV, Susan L. O'Keefe, and Pamela C. Jarrell. He is also survived by six loving granddaughters and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ellen M. Klein Kellogg, and his second wife, Leah Ramini Kellogg. Ray was born in the Bronx, NY, and graduated from Stamford High School in Stamford, CT. He attended Rutgers University and The University of Connecticut. He was a proud WWII Navy veteran, and served as President of several banks in Connecticut. He was an avid golfer, animal lover, and a passionate American patriot. A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 1:30 pm at St. Gregory the Great in Bluffton, SC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to: Capital Needs Fund, Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC 29909. A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 1:30 pm at St. Gregory the Great in Bluffton, SC.
