Remer Leroy (Lee) Allen

March 31, 1938 – December 18, 2021 (Age 83)

Lee passed away suddenly on December 18, 2021 in Bluffton, SC

He was born and raised a farmer in Jamestown, Ohio and later graduated from Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio. After a brief time in the education field, he started in the real-estate business and was in it for 57 years. Upon his death he was still working in the real-estate business in Bluffton, SC.

Lee was a caring son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. A humble, kind man who loved to travel and enjoyed cruising around the world with his wife Cheryl.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cheryl Allen; Brothers: Arthur (Jr), Russel, Max, and their wives. Four children: Lori Allen, Lee Allen II, Michael Allen, and Adam Drake. He was a proud grandfather to three grandchildren: Louis Villanueva, Lorenzo Villanueva, and William Allen, who all reside in North Carolina. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Lee’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to everyone for their prayers and condolences.

A memorial will be held at a later time in his hometown of Jamestown, Ohio where he will be buried next to his parents Clarice and Arthur Allen.
