Rene Paul Robillard

Rene Paul Robillard, 78, of Bluffton, SC, husband of Carole McFarland Robillard, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, GA.

Rene was born in Cambridge, MA on August 10, 1940 to the late Oscar Robillard and Claire Dubé Robillard. He was the owner of Massachusetts Prosthetics. He was Catholic. With a great interest in history, Rene was a member of His Majesty's Tenth Regiment of Foot in America, a re-created infantry unit formed to portray the events of 1776. He enjoyed visiting Disney World with his grandchildren and traveling with his wife.

In addition to his wife, Rene is survived by his sons, Daniel Goodell (Chris) of Margaretsville, NY and Phillippe Robillard (Julie) of Lemanster, MA; daughter, Renee Robillard of Boston, MA; sisters, Lucille Bailles (Claude) of TN and Sylvia Heroux of Canada; nine grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton is assisting the family with arrangements.
