Reverend Father Casmir Maduakor

Father Casmir born in Enugu, Nigeria, and graduated from Urban University in Rome with two masters in theology, philosophy and religious studies, and from Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Germany, where he earned a doctorate in moral theology.

He was ordained in 1984 and served as pastor and rector of a seminary in Nigeria. He came to the United States in 2003 for the Archdiocese of Atlanta, then he served faithfully at parishes in Ohio and North Carolina. Most recently Father Casmir ministered in the Diocese of Charleston at St. Peter Church in Beaufort, Marine Corps Air Station, Parris Island Recruit Depot in Beaufort and at St. Gregory the Great Church in Bluffton.

Father Casmir was greatly loved and his admonition “remember to remember, the Mass is heaven on earth” will remain in the hearts of everyone he touched.
