Reynold G. BishopOkatie, SCReynold Glenn Bishop, 79 of Okatie, SC passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at his home.He was born in Islandton, SC on July 7, 1932. He was the son of the late Jeter Bishop and Fannie Wiggins Bishop.Mr. Bishop owned Bishop Maintenance Construction Company. He was retired from Callawassie Island Company; a member of S.C. National Guard and a member of Okatee Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Browning Bishop of Okatie, SC; one son, Marshall G. (Jan) Bishop of Okatie, SC; one daughter, Willene (David) Beaty of Ridgeland, SC; one brother, Fletcher (Nell) Bishop of Jesup, GA; two sisters, Carrie Bysshop of Cummings, SC; Ruby (Harold) Smith of Early Branch, SC and four grandsons, Chad Beaty, Alec, Brannen, and Jaron Bishop. He was preceded in death by twin daughters, Mary and Martha Bishop; four brothers, Archie, Cecil, Edward and J. Warren Bishop. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Okatie Baptist Church with burial in the Ridgeland Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 til 8 pm, Friday, September 23, 2011 at Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland, 310 W. Adams Street in Ridgeland, SC. The family requests memorial gifts be made in his honor to Tidewater Hospice, 10 Buckingham Plantation Drive, Suite A, Bluffton, SC 29910 or J. C.
