Richard Alan Fisch

Richard Alan Fisch, 71, passed away unexpectedly on December 7th, 2021 in his home in Bluffton, SC. Rich was born in the Bronx, NY to Lottie Handwerger and the late Joseph Fisch. He graduated from William Howard Taft High School in 1968. He studied Accounting at Fairleigh Dickenson University where he met his beloved wife Cheryl. He completed his Masters in Taxation from Fairleigh in 1976.

Rich was an avid sports fan. He never missed his children's soccer games and track meets. He especially loved baseball and football cheering on the NY Yankees and Giants. Rich moved to Sun City to enjoy retirement and explore new activities such as fishing and shrimping, but loved perfecting his golf game.

Rich is survived by his wife Cheryl, married for 47 years. His son and daughter Mike and Hayley and four grandchildren Zoe, Julian, Teagan and Katelyn; his mother Lottie Erickson and sister Linda Fisch.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor can be made to the American Heart Association .
