Richard "Dick" G. Graef

Richard G. Graef, “Dick”, age 95, a resident of The Seabrook, passed away peacefully on April 24 ^, 2021.

Mr. Graef is survived by his loving companion of 34 years, Marge Gunn and his beloved children, Pam Galusha, Captain Todd Graef, Gordon Graef, and grandchildren, Brain and Matthew Galusha and respective great grandchildren.

Dick honorably served as a B-25 Pilot in the United States Army Air Force.  He grew up in New Jersey where he and his beloved wife, Violet Jane Bardner, “Jean”, raised their family while working as a member of the Sheet Metal Workers as a gifted draftsman. Subsequently he and Jean retired to Melbourne Beach, Florida.  Dick was an avid reader, enjoyed golfing and tennis, playing cards, traveling and camping throughout the U.S.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Dick can be made to the Hilton Head Humane Association, P.O. Box 21790, Hilton Head Island, SC   29926.
