Richard David Holcomb

Richard David Holcomb, age 76, of Hilton Head Island died Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Hilton Head Hospital.

Mr. Holcomb was born on February 3, 1942 in Roanoke, VA, the son of the late Paul and Mildred Holcomb. He is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years, Lee Hart Holcomb; children, Evelyn Dianne Holcomb, Lydia Claire Holcomb, Carl Daniel Holcomb, and Alison Marsh (Shawn); sisters, Lois Zachman and Carol Draddy; grandchildren, Russ, Lena, Becky, Jeremiah, Eli, and Levi; and great-grandchildren, Hannah, Josiah, and Kaylee.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at St. Luke’s Church, 50 Pope Avenue, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Luke’s Church.
