Richard Fortner Kruzick

Richard Fortner Kruzick passed away peacefully on November 21, 2020 at the age of 90.  After spending much of his life in the Chicago area he retired to Venice, Florida before spending his final months in Hilton Head, South Carolina.  Dick was an engineer and executive at Western Electric prior to his retirement and was involved in innovative projects such as the early development of fax machines and the beginnings of mobile phone technology.  After retirement Dick enjoyed golf, travel and Czech cuisine.  He was predeceased by his wife Violet and is survived by his two daughters Suzanne and husband Gary Goodman and Nancy and husband Lou Weltzer.  He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held at a future date.
