Richard Alan Rodman

Richard Alan Rodman, age 74, of Hardeeville, SC passed away at Hospice Savannah on April 5, 2022 after a short illness.

Richard was born in Queens, New York on February 19, 1948 to the late Frank Rodman and Frances Giebfried Rodman.

Richard was a graduate of Island Trees High School in Long Island, NY. After his tour of duty in the Air Force he worked for Roche Pharmaceutical where he retired.  He moved to the South Carolina Low Country where he enjoyed golf, travel in the United States and Europe.  A proud United States Air Force veteran, he was a member of the Vietnam Veterans Association.

Richard is survived by his wife, Rita Murphy Rodman, Stepsons, Robert W. Murphy Jr., Steven T. Murphy (Tasha) of Hardeeville, SC, Daughters, Jackie Amanullah (David) of Woodland Park, NJ, Sharon Mandat (Willie) of Miami, FL and two Granddaughters, Kaitlyn Amanullah and Madison Amanullah.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, April 22, 2022 at The Catholic Cemetery, Wheaton Street, Savannah, GA.
