Richard H. Sherson

Richard Henry Sherson, 72, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at his home in Bluffton, SC.He was born in Bronx, New York on June 2, 1937. He was the son of the late Harry and Ceil Sherson.He was a retired Senior Systems Planner for IBM, Communications Products Division for 40 years. He was a member of the Oseh Shalom Synagogue. He was a US Army veteran.He is survived by his wife, Bobi Sherson of Bluffton, SC; one son, David Sherson of Raleigh, NC; two daughters, Meri Sherson of Raleigh, NC and Debra Sherson (Brett) Goltz of Potamac, MD; one sister, Paula Sherson of New York City and grandchildren, Garrett Goltz and Ethan Goltz.Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 pm, Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Six Oaks Cemetery, Hilton Head Island, SC.The family requests memorial donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 2141 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 7000, El Segundo, CA 90245 or Tidewater Hospice, 181 Bluffton Road, Suite B102, Bluffton, SC 29910.Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements.
