It is with great sadness that the family of Richard (Dick) T. Connelly, 82, announce that he passed peacefully in his sleep on December 18, 2021. Born and raised in Canandaigua, NY, Dick spent his adult life in Rochester, NY, then most recently in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty (Tower), son Michael J. Connelly, daughter Sandy Williams (David), daughter Joni Raymundo (Raul), grandchildren Erika, Carly, Joshua, Robert, Noah and Luke. Christopher, Patrick and six great-grandchildren. His sister Margaret Curran (Fred), nephews Kevin, Jim (Meg) and Matt (Lisa). As well as several beloved cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Gertrude (McWilliams) Connelly.

Dick will also be deeply missed by Riley, his cocker spaniel and constant companion.

He worked at Castle Sybron for 42.5 years where he made many lifelong friends.

Dick had a great love of all sports but especially baseball. He was known as quite the left handed pitcher. He was also an avid bowler, playing in bowling leagues for over 50 years. But what he loved most were his family and friends, who will miss him dearly.
