Richard Tomko

Richard John Tomko, 73, of Bluffton, SC, formerly of Dickson City, died peacefully after a long term illness on Friday, December 7, 2012. He was born on December 16, 1938 to the late John and Sophie Urbanowicz Tomko. He is survived by his loving wife, of 47 years, Sandra McCracken Tomko of Bluffton.He was a graduate of Dickson City High School, and Lackawanna College. He served inthe U.S. Marine Corps. from 1956 to 1958. He had a long, successful career with Borroughs/Unisys before retiring to South Carolina.He is also survived by daughters Jacquelyn Villar and husband, Raul of Salt Lake City, Utah and Tracy Loban and husband Joshua of Westborough, Massachusetts; brothers Theodore, John and wife MaryLou and Philip (deceased); sisters Barbara Brown, Deborah Wilensky and husband Frank; grandchildren Matthew, Julia, Jenna, Katie, and Chase; as well as several nieces and nephews.A Funeral Mass will be held at a later date at Saint Mary
