Rick James Fujita

Rick James Fujita, age 55, of Bluffton, South Carolina, passed away on December 8, 2013. Rick was born on October 20, 1958 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was a Certified Public Accountant with a BBA from the University of Hawaii and an MBA from Queens University. Rick had an exceptional career in finance and was Chief Financial Officer for Raycom Sports in Charlotte, NC, the largest sports and entertainment television syndicator in the country. He then became Chief Financial Officer for CraftBuilt Homes, K. Hovnanian Homes and most recently Village Park Communities and Village Park Homes in Bluffton, SC. Rick was an avid collector of modern and contemporary art and a supporter of live theater. He is survived by brothers Russell (Jo-Ann) and Randall (Robynne) Fujita, nieces Hillary and Kiah, nephew Nicolas, and close friends Marti Anzai and Craig Anzai of Denver, CO and their children Philip and Keiko. His family and many friends in Honolulu, Denver, Charlotte and Bluffton will miss his keen intelligence and quick and hilarious wit.
