Robert Carl Abbott

Robert Carl Abbott, 70 of Bluffton passed away at his home on Saturday, May 11, 2013. He was born in Marianna, FL on April 24, 1943 to the late Jessie Otis Abbott Sr. and Pansy Mae Purvis. He is survived by his wife, Solimar (Soli) G. Abbott of Bluffton; one son, Kenneth Wayne Abbott of Tampa, FL; one daughter, Jennifer Junger (Jason) of Niceville, FL; brothers, Billy Joe Abbott (Gloria) of Panama City, FL and Keith Allen Abbott of Round Lake, FL; sisters, Linda Tice (Eddie Tice, deceased) of Columbia, SC, Diane Carlise (Richard) of Lafayette, LA and Ginger Renfer (Bill) of Avoca, PA and one brother in law, Maurice Scott of Chipley, FL. He was predeceased by brothers, Jessie Otis Abbott Jr. and Rodney Howard Abbott and sister, Helen Jean Scott. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton. The family will receive friends between 6 pm and 7 pm at the funeral home.
