Robert L. €Œbob” Head, Sr.

Robert L. "Bob" Head, Sr., 71 of Beaufort died Thursday, July 10, 2014 at his home. Mr. Head was born in Bristol, GA on June 15, 1943, the son of the late John R. Head and Rosarett Adams Head. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an electrician for many years and member of the IBEW Local 508 in Savannah, GA. He was a member of Richard T. Turner Lodge #116, F.&A.M., The Savannah York Rite Bodies, and the Scottish Rite Consistory-Valley of Savannah. Mr. Head is survived by his wife, Kelia Head; son, Robert "Sonny" Head, Jr. and wife Tae of Columbus, GA; daughter, Michelle Edwards of Pooler, GA; sister, Marie Emmans of Orlando, FL; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., Monday, July 14, 2014 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Masonic Home of Georgia Operating Fund, P.O. Box 4183, Macon, GA 31208. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 â
