Dr. Robert Albert Berry

Dr. Robert Albert Berry, 79 of Bluffton, SC passed away peacefully Wednesday July 16, 2014 in his home after a long struggle with cancer. He is the beloved son of Albert and Viola Berry. Born on 1/17/35 in New York he went on to become a doctor of Audiology and Speech Pathology. After attending the University of South Florida and Maryland he practiced at the VA Hospital in Roanoke, VA. He later moved to Exeter NH where he started the Exeter Hearing Clinic which he ran with his wife Ellen for over 20 years before retiring to Bluffton, SC. He served his country in the United States Navy and is survived by his wife Ellen M. Berry, sister Elizabeth (Berry) McCoy, stepdaughter Ellen A. Long, stepson Jonathan Kelly, nephews John, Brian and Neil Pfieffer and grandchildren Jack and Allison Long. A private memorial service will be held Friday July 25th at the Church of the Cross in Bluffton, SC. In lieu of flowers any donations could be made to the American Cancer Society.
