Robert John Bogert

Robert John Bogert, 76, of Bluffton, SC passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at his home.He was born in Clifton, NJ on November 14, 1933. He was the son of the late Frances J. and Catherine Witte Bogert.He was a US Army veteran. He was a retired Circulation Department Supervisor for The Star Ledger in North New Jersey. He was a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church and a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus.He is survived by his wife, Natalie Martin Bogert of Bluffton; one son, John Bogert of Oswego, NY; three daughters, Christina Bogert-DePonte and her husband, Robert of Cranfort, NJ, Beth Ann Bogert of Emmaus, PA and Pamela Bogert and her husband, Peter of Naughtuck, CT; one brother, William G. Bogert of Oskosh, WI; one sister, Jane Bogert of CA and six grandchildren, Ilyssa, Isabella, Duncan, Robert, Madison and Peter.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 23, 2010 with burial in the Resurrection Garden.The family will receive friends at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton from 5 til 7 on Wednesday, September 22, 2010. A Wake Service will be held at 6:30 pm.The family requests memorial donations be made to the Mychal F. Judge O.F.M.
