Robert David Dito

Robert David Dito, 66, of Bluffton, SC passed away November 25, 2019 after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.

Robert was born December 18, 1952 to Ralph and Elisabeth Dito in Shirley, MA.

In 1983, Robert met the love of his life Deborah through a mutual friend. They later married October 7, 1984 and went on to have two beautiful children, Christina Nicole and Robert Jr.

In addition to being an amazing husband and loving father, Robert was also a dedicated Suffolk County Police Officer for 28 years and retired in 2010. He helped and saved many lives throughout his career.

He was an amazing baseball player in his free time and was part of a community team in Center Morches, NY and Bluffton, SC.

He loved to make everyone laugh up until his last days and would help anyone in need, especially the ones he loved.

Robert joins his parents, Ralph and Elisabeth, and his beloved pets, Rocky, Rusty, and Bentley in Heaven. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; daughter, Christina; son, Robert, Jr.; son-in-law, Joseph; dog, Red; and grand “fur” children, Samson and Luna.

He will forever be in our hearts!
