Robert Herman Eichholz

Robert Herman Eichholz, 69 of Bluffton passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at his home. Robert was born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 5, 1946 to the late Francis Joseph and Elizabeth C. Schmid Eichholz. He was retired from PPG Industries; a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church; and avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and a US Army veteran who served 13 months in Korea. Robert is survived by his wife, Geraldine Gloeckner Eichholz of Bluffton; his daughter, Amy Elizabeth Tuminella of Pittsburgh, PA; his sisters, Carol Ann Tau (Thomas) of Pensacola, FL and Marian Elaine Nash (James) of Conyers, GA and one grandchild, Lily Grace Tuminella. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Rd., Bluffton. The family will receive friends from 4 til 6 on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton. The Rosary will be held at 5:30 pm.
