Robert (Bob) F. Isherwood

Robert (Bob) F. Isherwood passed peacefully in his sleep on Thursday 1/28/21 in Bluffton SC. With his wife Ada and Sister-In-Law Christine McMullan by his side.

Bob was born in Mount Vernon, NY on October 5, 1937. His parents Frank & Frances Isherwood predeceased  him as well as his sisters Joan Isherwood and Francine Galgano.

He is survived by his wife Ada to whom he was married to for 49 years, as well as his sisters

Noreen Kearney and Kathleen Miggins (Mike) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob was a Navy veteran serving our country from 1956 to 1960 and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal.

As many of you know, Bob was an avid gardener and belonged to many gardening clubs in New York and Florida where he won many awards.  Our greenhouse in NY was filled with Orchids which were one of his favorites.

A Catholic Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory the Great CC in Bluffton at 10:30AM on Friday 2/12/21 with the family receiving family & friends one hour prior at the church. Following the Mass, Internment will be at Saul’s Funeral Home & Low Country Gardens, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton SC. – www.saulsfh.com
