Robert Hazlitt Gross, III, 74, of Bluffton, passed away Monday, May 13, 2012 at his residence. He was born on March 4, 2012 in Sante Fe, NM, the son of the late Blanche and Robert Gross, Jr. He was a retired US Naval Officer and was a Submariner.He is survived by his wife, Louise Chartrand Gross, of Bluffton; son Robert (Jessica) of Ashford, CT; daughters Kathy Gross of Ladyard, CT and Lauren Kivler of Albuquerque, NM; brother Peter (Lexy) Gross of Lexington, KY; and 4 grandchildren.
