Robert Francis Hill

Robert Francis Hill, 65, of Bluffton, SC passed away suddenly on June 15, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, GA after a good fight battling MDS. Robert was born and grew up in Orange, CT and graduated from University of New Haven in 1974 after serving in the United States Marine Corps. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Marge; sons, Jonathan Robert Hill (Liberty) of Apex, NC, Andrew Louis Hill (Erin) of Broomfield, CO and daughter, Emily Frances Thompson (Ryan) of Thornton, CO. Robert was the beloved grandfather of Harrison, Nathan, Aubrey and Josie. He is also survived by his brother, Stephen and wife Jo Ann of Tempe, AZ. Robert was an avid golfer and enjoyed retirement in his Sun City Community. He was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and will have a Funeral Mass there on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Anderson Cancer Center, 4700 Waters Ave., Savannah, GA 31404 or St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC 29909.
