Robert Hutton

Robert Allen Hutton, of Hilton Head, SC, has died after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was 82. Bob was born in Detroit to the late George and Edith (nee Rogers) Hutton. He was proud of his service in the US Air Force, his career in the machine tool industry, and most of all, of his family. Bob never met a stranger, raised money for countless charities, loved to travel, and was the life of every party. 

He is survived by his wife, Eileen, his children Andrew (Alex) and Rebecca Hutton, Laurie and William Hornbeck, and his grandsons, Damien and Michael Hutton. He leaves behind his sisters, Dorothy Byrne and twin Carolyn Ballard, and his brother Roger Hutton. He was preceded in death by his older brother Richard. 

Celebrations of Life are being planned, and his family welcomes donations in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Heart Association.
