Robert Donohue, Jr.

Robert (Bob) Donohue, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home in Sun City in Okatie, SC on Monday, Nov. 4, 2024 at the age of 68.

Born and raised in Staten Island, NY he moved to various states which he also called home. Bob was a Progressman/Planner for the US Coast Guard, a Plant Engineer at Waste Management and lastly held his favorite job as a stay-at-home dad. His passion was coaching and cheering on countless softball and baseball teams and maintaining the ball field.

He is survived by his wife Mary Anna, his daughter Olivia and his dog Murphy. Bob is also survived by his siblings Dori Carangelo, Greg Donohue, Kevin Donohue, several nieces and nephews and dear friends.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 31 St. Gregory Dr., Bluffton. The family will receive friends 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, Friday, November 8, 2024 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton with a prayer service beginning at 5:30 pm.
