Robert Francis Keane

Robert “Bob” F. Keane, 73, passed away peacefully Monday December 12, 2022 in Savannah at Memorial hospital surrounded by his loved ones.

Bob lived a very full life. Many years were spent abroad during his time in the Army before settling in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he raised his family and worked as a professional purchasing manager. When his kids were grown, Bob moved to the east coast. Starting in St. Augustine, Fl, where he and his wife owned a sandwich shop. Bob eventually moved to Bluffton, SC in the mid-2000’s. There he eventually opened a restaurant, Neo Farm to Table, with his son. Also known by many as the tax man, Bob maintained his tax company for the past 15 years.

A very active member of the community and church, Bob was involved in many programs helping to better the lives of those around him. He was heavily committed to prison ministry (Kairos) and a program designed to help rehabilitate the lives of prisoners upon release (Jump Start).

Survived by his wife (Melody) of 52 years; son Russell (Madison) Keane, daughter Susan (Tim) Koupe; daughter Tina (Stephen) Eaton; fourteen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

A “Celebration of Life & Memorial Service” will be held on Tuesday December 20th, 2022 at Saul’s Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC 29910. Friends and family will be able to gather at 2:00 pm with a 3:00pm service following. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Jump Start Prison Ministry at jumpstartvision.org.
