Robert Lee Murphy

Robert Lee Murphy, 80 of Hardeeville, SC passed away on Friday, June 4, 2010 in the Veterans Hospital, Charleston, SC.He was born in Ridgeland, SC on November 9, 1929. He was the son of the late Albert Clyde and Matilda Cooler Murphy.He was a retired Painter. He attended the Red Dam Baptist Church and he was a US Army veteran.He is survived by his wife, Sheila Carter Murphy of Hardeeville; two sons, Wayne (Jackie) Murphy of Lebanon, TN and Lewis Murphy of Indianapolis, IN; two daughters, Tracy (Ski) Fialkowski of Mt. Juliette, TN and Belinda (Richard) Maund of Virginia Beach, VA; one brother, Ronnie (Betty) Murphy of Butler, TN; two sisters, Betty M. Scott of Hardeeville, SC and Marjorie Lipham of Mt. City, TN; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Frances Bailey.Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, June 6, 2010 in the Red Dam Baptist Church, Hardeeville, SC with burial in the Purrysburg Cemetery.
