Robert Wilburn Murphy Jr.

Robert Wilburn Murphy Jr. age 61, of Hardeeville, SC passed away at his home on June 17th, 2023, after a long illness.

Robert was born in Savannah, GA on July 4th, 1961, to the late Robert W. Murphy Sr., “Bob” and Rita (Kratzer) Murphy.

Robert was a graduate of West Hardeeville Highschool. By trade, Robert was an electrician on mega-yachts.

Robert is survived by his two sons, Robert W Murphy III, and Michael B. Murphy, his mother Rita Murphy Rodman, brother Steven T. Murphy (Tasha) of Hardeeville. He is also survived by his 4 nieces, Chelsea Petrie, Britney Smith, Courtney Murphy, Nicole Murphy, along with several great nieces and great nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 24th at the Catholic Cemetery on Wheaton Street, Savannah, GA.
