Robert Henry Reck Md

Robert Henry Reck, MD, 67 of Bluffton, SC passed away on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Hilton Head Medical Center, Hilton Head Island, SC.He was born in Trenton, NJ on July 27, 1944. He was the son of the late George and Susan Chacko Reck.He was a retired plastic surgeon who practiced in Boca Raton and Miami, FL. He moved to New Jersey where he practiced and was associated with the St. Barnabas Medical Center. He was an assistance professor at the Medical and Dental University of New Jersey. H was a staff member at the Veterans Administration Hospital in East Orange, NJ. He was a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church. He was a US Navy Veteran Medical Doctor at Guantanamo, Cuba and Camp LeJeune, NC. He was a member of the VFW and Military Officers of America.He is survived by his wife, Gaye Eiserle Reck of Bluffton; one son, Ryan Reck of Chatham, NJ; two daughters, Kristina (John) Boniface of Wayne, NJ and Alexandra (Zanley) Galton of Portland, Oregon and two grandchildren, Charlotte Galton and Zanley Galton, IV.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton SC on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 2:00 pm.The family requests memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd., Ste. 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256 in memory of Dr. Robert Henry Reck.
