Robert Earl Roper Jr.

Robert Earl Roper, Jr., 52 of Ridgeland, SC, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011 in his home. He was born on May 12, 1958 in Beaufort, SC. He was the son of Robert Earl and Marlyse Abraham Roper, Sr. He was the owner of R&R Landscape Co. and he was a member of Maye River Baptist Church. He enjoyed salt water fishing. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Roper of Ridgeland, SC; his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Earl Roper, Sr. and Marlyse Roper of Beaufort, SC; two sons, Robert E. Roper, III and Ryan Owen Roper both of Bluffton, SC; and two brothers, Randal (Linda) Roper and Richard (Pam) Roper all of Beaufort, SC.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Maye River Baptist Church, 3507 North Okatie Highway, Bluffton, with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton.
