Robert Austin Scott Sr.

Robert Austin Scott, Sr., 68, formerly of Southington, Connecticut and now residing in Bluffton, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on March 28, 2012 at the Hospice House of Savannah. Bob was born in Waterbury, Ct. on August 2, 1943, the son of the late Wesley Balch Scott and Lucille Chaffee Scott. He served with the Army National Guard. Bob worked many years selling industrial hardware throughout New England. In 1992, Bob and his family moved to the Lowcountry, making Callawassie Island their home. He was an avid golfer but what he enjoyed most was spending time with his family. Bob was successful selling real estate for the Callawassie Island Company. He was affectionately known as
