Robert Sparks

Robert W. Sparks, 80, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 in Bluffton, SC.He was born on January 22, 1932 in Metter, GA to the late Joe Sparks and Dovie Collins Sparks.He was a self employed Painter and a member of the SC National Guard.He is survived by two sons, Billy (Faith) Sparks of Martinsville, IN; Ronald Sparks of Ridgeland, SC; three daughters, Barbara (George) Todd of Walterboro, SC; Sharon (Walter Steedley) Childree of Bluffton, SC; Teresa (Joe) Altman of Ridgeland, SC; two brothers, R. L. (Betty) Sparks of Walterboro, SC; Bobby Joe Sparks of Ridgeland, SC; three sisters, Robina Duncan, Ethel Cleland and Juanita Cleland, all of Ridgeland, SC; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 24, 2012 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland with burial in Grahamville Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 until 8 pm, Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the funeral home. Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family with their arrangements. (saulsfh.com)
