Robert 'Bob' Stephen Lamatina

Robert ‘Bob’ Stephen Lamatina, 74 of Bluffton passed away on August 12, 2017 at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston. Mr. Lamatina was born in Jersey City, NJ on June 29, 1943 to the late Edward Lamatina and Gertrude Cordts Lamatina. Mr. Lamatina was a construction manager for Schiavone Construction Company for over 35 years; enjoyed playing golf, bowling, billiards, softball and pickleball; member MGA of Sun City; played every Saturday morning with his golfing buddies; member Woodworkers of Sun City; and always willing to help others regardless of the need. He was a Catholic. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lamatina; daughter, Stephenie Sacca (Tony) of St. Charles, IL; brother, James Lamatina (Veronica) of The Villages, FL; sister, Maria Lentini (Pat) of Bluffton and grandchildren, Robert Sacca and Anthony Sacca. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm, Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton. The family will receive friends beginning at 3:00 pm until the hour of the service. The family requests memorial donations in memory of Bob Lamatina be made to your favorite charity.
