Robert Joseph Yeske

Robert J. Yeske, 73 died on June 7, 2010 at his home in Bluffton SC after a brief illness.He was the son of the late Victor and Florence (Terri-Savage) Yeske. He was born on December 18, 1936 in Hartford and grew up in New Britain and New Hartford. He moved to Torrington in June of 1955.Bob is survived by his wife, Pamela (Vergaro) Yeske of Bluffton and his daughter, Deborah and grandchildren, Heather and Jarrett of Auburn, GA. Other survivors include brother, James and his wife Carole, and sister in law, Fran Yeske all of Florida. Sister and brother in law, Cheryl and Thomas Martinotti of SC; brother and sister in law, Peter and Joan Vergaro and mother in law, Harriet Vergaro all of Torrington. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.Bob worked at The Torrington Company (Needle Division) for 24 years and at Groz-Beckert USA for 20 yearsBob loved model railroading and flying radio controlled planes. He was predeceased by his brother, Victor Yeske and father in law, Fred Vergaro.Memorial contributions may be made to The Torrington Library, 12 Daycoeton Place, Torrington, CT 06790.A Memorial Service will be held in Torrington at a later date.Sauls Funeral Home handled arrangements in Bluffton.
