Roberta (Bobbi) Mingledorff Duvall

Roberta Mingledorff Duvall, 81, of Augusta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026 at the Benton House of Bluffton. She was born on March 7, 1944, in Savannah, GA to the late Robert and Stella Mae Mingledorff. She was recently preceded in death by her husband Dale Duvall.

She was a 1961 graduate of Groves High School in Garden City, GA. Bobbi was a proud graduate of the University of Georgia and a lifelong Bulldogs fan; a passion she carried with her throughout her life. She devoted her entire professional career to medical technology at the Medical College of Georgia, where she retired as a chemistry supervisor after 35 years of service. After retiring, she finished out her life in Bluffton, S.C.

A steady and caring presence, Bobbi was known as a mother to many, offering guidance and support well beyond her own family. She will be remembered for her generosity and the deep pride she took in those she loved. Fun-loving, free-spirited, and always the first to dance. Her laughter and rhythm will stay with us forever.

Bobbi is survived by her sister, Mildred Wilson (James “Jimmy”) of Bluffton, S.C.; her children, Robert “Rob” Duvall (Jenny) of Bluffton, S.C. and Sarah Lawhorn (Troy) of Statesboro, GA.; her beloved grandchildren, Stella and Ivan Lawhorn of Statesboro, GA; several nieces and nephews all of whom will cherish her memory.

An outdoor Celebration of Life will be held on March 21, 2026 from 1:00-3:00pm in Bluffton, S.C. (16 Nanny Cove Ct).

This will be a gathering to share memories and the kind of happiness she brought to every party because that’s how she’d want to be remembered.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
