Robin Hoffer

October 15, 1954 — April 27, 2025

Robin Hoffer, 70, of St. Helena Island, South Carolina, passed away peacefully the morning of April 27th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Robin’s life was a tapestry woven with quiet strength, steadfast kindness, and the small, thoughtful gestures that left a lasting mark on those around her.  She was a woman who never forgot a birthday, who believed in sending care packages just because, and who showed her love not with grand gestures, but with steady, reliable devotion.

Born on October 15th, 1954, in Fairfax, Virginia, Robin carried a deep loyalty to her family and her country that never wavered.  She proudly served in the United States Air Force for 24 years, rising to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant, the highest enlisted rank in the Air Force, before her retirement in 1996.  After her military service, Robin continued to lead with dedication and purpose, serving as President of CommIT Enterprises for another 24 years.  Whether in uniform or in business, Robin brought integrity, resilience, and heart to everything she did.

Robin is survived by her husband, Bill Hoffer; her children, William Hoffer, Madison Hoffer, and stepdaughter Megan Kose; her mother, Mary Jane Raines; her sisters, Cheryl Alls and Jill Ellis; and her step-grandson, Cain Kose.  She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Van Raines.  Each of her surviving family members carries forward her legacy of loyalty, compassion, strength, and quiet, enduring love.

Robin’s life was filled with simple joys—scrapbooking memories with care, sitting at the beach she loved so dearly, and spending afternoons searching for just the right Mums to match the colors of the Washington Redskins.  She found happiness in the details—in laughter around the table at a crab feast, and in the quiet satisfaction of knowing her family was safe and cared for.  Even in life’s most difficult seasons, she met each challenge with grace, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to those she loved.

Viewing and Services will be held May 10, 2025 at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, Virginia from 12:00pm-1:00pm (Viewing) and 1:00pm-2:00pm (Services).  Burial will also be May 10th, 2025 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 4160 Rixeyville Rd, Jeffersonton, Virginia.

Robin’s story with her family doesn’t end here.  It lives on—in every birthday, in every quiet act of kindness, and in the countless lives she touched with her steady and generous heart.
