Rodney Robert Bialko

Rodney Robert Bialko, age 69 of Bluffton, SC passed away at Hilton Head Hospital, Hilton Head Island, SC on Friday, February 5, 2016. Mr. Bialko was born in New York City on September 9, 1946 to the late Robert Francis Bialko and Edamay Bollenbach Bialko. Mr. Bialko was retired after 28 years as Superintendent Department of Public Works Borough of Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Mr. Bialko was a US Navy veteran who served aboard the USS Shadwell – LSD 15; member Sun City Veterans Association; member Church of the Palms; Sun City Woodworkers Guild; Murray Hill Neighborhood alternate representative and Project Children committee member and served as host family. Mr. Bialko is survived by his wife, Lynda Bialko of Bluffton; his daughter, Stephanie Herndon (Thomas) of Takoma Park, MD. He was predeceased by his daughter, Courtney Bialko. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, February 8, 2016 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Church of The Palms, Okatie, SC.
